In 2010, my wife Tricia King and I (Steve King) had interviewed 15 Jefferson County and St. Louis County custom home builders to build our dream home in Hillsboro, Missouri (Jefferson County). After a lengthy 2 week process weighing out the pros and cons of each builder, we unanimously came to a final decision. They had all of the qualities that we were looking for in a home builder. First and foremost communication. Since they are a husband and wife team, they have excellent communication skills for the customer, whereas if one isn't available, the other is there to assist without hesitation. Communication was paramount for us, especially when building a custom home. Joe's portfolio of past custom home building, home remodeling and various other home upgrades were top notch visually speaking. Debbie, on the otherhand, we could immediately tell was an excellent interior designer. Here recommendations for our custom home helped us look at things in a different light ............ things that were would have never thought of. Jackson Construction, Inc. was also very competetive in their bidding process which made the a front runner. Overall, it was the combination of their character and their bid that won us over.

When construction started on our custom home in July of 2010, Joe was there 99% of the entire 5 month project! He listened to what was wanted and made it happen (and then some)! You will notice little extra things that he does that is above and beyond your general home builder. Why? Cause he wants you to have the best. As Joe says: "That's a little somethin' extra you get from Joe Jackson". Truly, he is a great, down to earth guy with many years of experience under his belt. I know we had always enjoyed coming to the job site, because he would ALWAYS put a smile on our faces. He went the extra mile to change anything that was bothering us. Our home was completed on schedule in December of 2010. We lucked out along the way and had a long dry spell of good weather. Joe told us it would take 4 to 6 months, and at 5 months he was dead on!

Joe and Debbie Jackson did not ask me nor my wife to write the review for them. I felt obligated to let the good people of Jefferson County and the entire St. Louis area know that there is a diamond in the ruff out there that they may not know of custom home builder wise. It was the least that we could do, since they made our dream home happen flawlessly. Below you will see some pics of our house they did. We give them two thumbs up, WAY UP!!!
