This just in. There will be a whopping 64 sets of Cornhole boards set up at this years 4th annual Aiming for the Answer Cornhole Tournament at Kirkwood Park built by Fehlig Bros. Lumber. That's A LOT of Cornhole boards and almost double from what they had last year! Don't forget to register. Last year they had 169 teams and around 500 people at this charity event. This year they are expecting a lot more! Though not a St. Louis Cornhole nor Diversion Sports sanctioned event, we will be there and playing! The date is Sept. 5th of Labor Day weekend. That's a Sunday. Save the date and don't wait too late to register. Food and drink will be provided with the entry fee.

Congrats to Jason and 12-pack Ted on 1st place at the Stratford Inn in Fenton on the 24th of July. BJ and Matt came in 2nd place and Nicole and Terry came in 3rd place. Myself and Pat Byrne came in 4th, so I guess I'm no longer call second place Steve, lol. There were 16 teams that competed.

Registration for the LARGEST Cornhole charity event in the entire St. Louis area is now open. This will be the 4th annual Aiming for the Answer charity cornhole tournament raising money for autism on Sunday, September 5th (Labor Day Weekend). Last year this event drew 169 teams and over 500 people all-in-all to Kirkwood Park, and raised over $30,000 (see video here). If you are into Cornhole and supporting a cause, then this is one that you won't want to miss! All of the registration, time and location details can be found on their website HERE. This is a tough tourney, since it is single elimination AND it is rally scoring. So, with that said, there is no room for error if you want to make it to first place. Food and drink will be provided. This is not a St. Louis Cornhole nor Diversion Sports sanctioned event. We at St. Louis Cornhole will have one set of our high quality furniture grade Cornhole boards in their silent auction to be bid on. Remember, all proceeds go to finding the cure for autism.

We only offer replacements for cornhole bags whose stitches are broken during normal play. Because we employ professionals who consistently produce a superior product, the likelihood of this happening has been substantially reduced. Our return rate for broken cornhole bags is almost nill! We stand by our products and will replace cornhole bags purchased from us if the seams break during the course of normal play within 90 days of purchase. We cannot control the conditions under which your bags are played, therefore we do not offer replacements for punctured bags resulting from such things as sharp cornhole board corners, sticks, gravel, broken glass, etc. Even Duck canvas is not strong enough to withstand these types of hazards.

The ESPN poll results for the favorite tailgating game are in! (click here) I predict that within the next year Cornhole will surpass the Washers game in St. Louis. They are now pretty neck and neck, with washer toss taking a slight lead in the STL. Hover your cursor over a state to see the statisitics. Oh, did I mention Cornhole has made it to ESPN. TIPS: If you apply polyurethane over the color white on cornhole boards, then the boards will turn a dingy yellow. Use polycrylic instead to keep the white crystal clear. If going over stained boards or boards that are not white, then polyurethane is the best bet, since the yellowing won't show up. Always use at least 3 coats of protectant, allowing time to dry fully between coats. Always coat over a vinyl decal after it is applied or it will eventually be marked up, damaged and/or peel up. Use a "dab" of pledge if you need more slide on your boards. Keep in mind once applied it's there until it wears off. It can really make the boards ultra slick the more you use.

Don't ever buy the wal-mart corn toss brand. It is very, very cheap and falls apart easily, and the bags are filled with sand. Bags should be filled with 14-16 ounces of kernal corn. The dust is a must! A resin or popcorn is an alternative, but corn is regulation. Cornhole boards should also be 2'x4' with a 6" hole (regulation). Lesser sized boards are called tailgater boards and junior indoor boards and are not ACA regulation, but always approved to play on. We supply the best stock in St. Louis. If you have ANY questions, then don't hesitate to ask. We know the game cornhole inside and out (rules, customization, products, etc.).
