Starting Feb. 20th, we will be the official supplier of Cornhole bags at all future Diversion Sports monthly indoor cornhole tournaments and leagues. If you need bags, boards or supplies, then email us in advance and we will deliver your order at any of their monthly indoor tournaments. See the Diversion Sports page on Facebook HERE.

The next indoor tournament is set for Feb. 20th at the Stratford through Diversion Sports. You can R.S.V.P. via their Facebook page HERE. The tourney now starts at 6pm vice 7pm and the doors open at 5:30pm. $20 per person gets you drink, chances at prizes, eats, and play. The indoor Cornhole tournament on Sat. night, Jan. 23rd, 2010 at the Stratford Inn Ballroom in Fenton, Mo organized by Rodney with Diversion Sports (TeamRodney2000@yahoo.com) was a HUGE success. Todd Jacobs and I took first place, but we had to work our butts off for that title. See the video HERE. The ESPN poll results for the favorite tailgating game are in! (click here) I predict that within the next year Cornhole will surpass the Washers game in St. Louis. They are now pretty neck and neck, with washer toss taking a slight lead in the STL. Hover your cursor over a state to see the statisitics. Oh, did I mention Cornhole has made it to ESPN. We have started carrying tailgate sized boards which are 2'x3', a foot shorter than ACA regulation boards that are 2'x4' (See below). These easily fit inside of a cars trunk.

TIPS: If you apply polyurethane over the color white on cornhole boards, then the boards will turn a dingy yellow. Use polyacrylic instead to keep the white crystal clear. If going over stained boards or boards that are not white, then polyurethane is the best bet, since the yellowing won't show up. Always use at least 3 coats of protectant, allowing time to dry fully between coats. Always coat over a vinyl decal after it is applied or it will eventually be marked up, damaged and/or peel up. Use a "dab" of pledge if you need more slide on your boards. Keep in mind once applied it's there until it wears off. It can really make the boards ultra slick the more you use.

The 3rd annual Aiming4TheAnswer.org Cornhole tournament in Kirkwood on Labor Day weekend was a HUGE success! There were 160 teams around 500 watchers/players all-in-all. Each year this event is getting larger and larger. It's truly a great event for a great cause! Job well done to the organizers. My friend Todd and I came in about 8th place out of 160 teams. Don't ever buy the wal-mart corn toss brand. It is very, very cheap and falls apart easily, and the bags are filled with sand. Bags should be filled with 14-16 ounces of kernal corn. The dust is a must! A resin or popcorn is an alternative, but corn is regulation. Cornhole boards should also be 4'x2' with a 6" hole (regulation). Lesser sized boards are called tailgater boards and junior indoor boards and are not ACA regulation, but always approved to play on. We supply the best stock in St. Louis. If you have ANY questions, then don't hesitate to ask. We know the game cornhole inside and out (rules, customization, products, etc.).
